Mr. Kader\u2019s previous position was Chief Financial Officer of W. P. Carey (\u201cWPC\u201d), a public real estate firm headquartered in New York City. Mr. Kader is an established leader and successful executive with a record in developing and executing strategic objectives, partnering and motivating teams and enhancing operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at WPC, Mr. Kader was the Chief Accounting Officer and an Executive Director of the Company, and its managed Real Estate Investment Trusts.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining WPC in 2011, he worked for fourteen years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, including six years at their offices in Sydney, Australia and Brussels, Belgium where he primarily advised public and private Asian and European companies, respectively. At PwC, he was a Director in their Transaction Services practice and advised companies on capital markets transactions, SEC reporting and compliance, accounting standards implementation and finance effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kader received a Bachelor of Engineering &#8211; Electronics and Communication degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India, an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.S. in Accounting from Pace University.<\/p>\n<p>He also is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boston &#8211; (October 17, 2016) &#8211; Mr. Hisham Kader has joined GID as its next Chief Financial Officer.
